Abstract
The treatment options for carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) include both non[1]surgical and surgical methods, depending on the severity of the symptoms. Surgical techniques for carpal tunnel release include open surgery, endoscopic surgery, and mini[1]open surgery. High-resolution ultrasound imaging, known for its direct and accurate visualization, has become popular in the treatment of peripheral nerve disorders, including CTS. This case report presents a minimally invasive ultrasound-guided carpal tunnel release surgery performed at Family General Hospital. It provides an overview of the literature, describes the surgical technique, discusses feasibility, and provides a preliminary evaluation of the outcomes.
