Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the percentage of pre-diabetes and learn about the relationship, correlation between pre-diabetes and cardiovascular risk factors such as: Age, blood pressure, BMI and lipid disorders of menopausal women. Subjects and Methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study of 121 menopausal women by glucose tolerance test at Frendship Hospital, Hanoi since April 2022. Result: 1. Results of glucose tolerable disorder:52.9% of menopausal women had normal blood glucose; 24% of menopausal women had impaired fasting glucose; 23.1% had impaired tolerance glucose; 2. Results of the relationship: There was a relationship between prediabetes and age, year of menopause, BMI, WHR, hypertension and lipidemia. Conclusion: There was a high percentage of pre-diabetes of menopausal women. Should be controlled early to treat for patient.
