Abstract
The study was conducted to determine the rate of knowledge, attitude, practice and some related factors on insulin use in diabetes patients at Tra Vinh General Hospital in 2021. Cross-sectional study Horizontal descriptive analysis was conducted on 390 subjects diagnosed with Diabetes who visited the Medical Examination Department and patients were inpatient at the Department of Cardiology and Geriatrics, Tra Vinh General Hospital from April 12, 2021 to June 18, 2021. Research results show that the rate of knowledge, attitude, and correct practice on insulin use in diabetics are 26,2%; 90,3%; 79,7%. The study recognized the relationship between knowledge and attitude with low education level, housework occupation, poor and near-poor family economy. Besides, the right knowledge and right attitude about using insulin are also related to the practice of the study subjects.
