Abstract
Pre-diabetes has been granted a pathology code by the Ministry of Health to be treated from 2022. This is a condition characterized by impaired glucose tolerance. The consequences of hyperglycemia lead to early microvascular damage, especially retinal damage. Through 96 study participants diagnosed with prediabetes, the rate of retinal damage was 6.3%. The correlation between age and gender is unknown. BMI, blood lipids with retinopathy status in people with pre-diabetes
