Abstract

Background: Today, coronary artery disease has become a global health problem. Worldwide, every year 4 million people are hospitalized for coronary artery disease, of which 25% die in the acute stage of the disease Objectives: Describe the characteristics of dyslipidemia and learn some related factors in patients with coronary artery disease. Method: Convenient template selection. Result:. Through a descriptive, prospective cross-sectional study with all patients diagnosed with coronary artery disease with dyslipidemia treated at Tien Giang Provincial General Hospital from 02/2022 to 09/2022. We recorded the following results: The age group 60-69 accounted for the highest 45.5%, the age group under 60 accounted for 24.8% and the lowest rate was from 80 years old and older accounted for 3.3%. The average age of the patient is 65. 2. In which, the oldest patient is 87 years old, the youngest is 43. Female accounted for 1.9 times higher than male. The majority of patients are elderly/incapacitated, accounting for 58.7%. Conclusion: Through a descriptive, prospective cross-sectional study with all patients diagnosed with coronary artery disease with dyslipidemia treated at Tien Giang Provincial General Hospital from 02/2022 to 09/2022. We recorded the following results: Disorders of 3 blood lipid indexes accounted for 43.8%; disorder of 2 indexes accounted for 36.4%, disorder of 1 index accounted for 15.7% disorder of all 4 indexes accounted for 4.1% The form of dyslipidemia with the highest rate was increased LDL-C and increased TG accounted for 62.8%; increased LDL-C and CT accounted for 57%, increased LDL-C and decreased HDL-C accounted for 14.9%, the remaining combinations accounted for a small proportion. When classified according to NCEP ATP III, our results show that the cholesterol level is limited to 32.2% and 23.1% is high. Triglyceric increased very high, accounting for 0.8%. High LDL-C accounted for 20.7%; very high growth of 5%. High level of HDL-C accounts for 25.6% and low level accounts for 5.8%.
