Abstract
Objectives: Assessment of clinical manifestations, medical investigations and glycemic control in diabetic pregnancy with polycystic ovary syndrome. Subjects and methods: This is a prospective cohort study involving 38 diabetic pregnant women with polycystic ovary syndrome attending Bach Mai Hospital from 9/2018 – 8/2019. Results: Mean BMI of 38 diabetic pregnant women was 24,05 ± 3,24 kg/m2 and there were 21 of 38 people overweight and obese. 65,8% were treated with insulin and mean insulin dose was 0,442 ± 275 IU/kg/d. About maternal and fetal outcomes, timing of delivery was 36,2 ± 3,5 ws, 32,4% were premature delivery and mean neonatal weight was 2613,5 ± 902,2g. Conclusions: Diabetic pregnant women had high prevalence overweight and obese; insulin therapy. About maternal and fetal outcomes, timing of delivery and neonatal weight were low; premature delivery percence was high.
