Tóm tắt

Background/Objective: Diabetic nephropathy is a major diabetes complication. Arterial resistance index (RI) may predict deterioration in kidney function. This study was designed to: 1/ Evaluate of the size, volume of kidney, the proportion of the renal artery stenosis, glomerular filtration rate (GFR), albuminuria in type 2 diabetes patients. 2/ Investigate the correlation between the size of kidney, hemodynamics (Intra-renal Arterial Resistance Inde/RI) and GFR with some risk factors. Materials and methods: In a cross-sectional descriptive study on 166 type 2 diabetes patients (69 male gender and 97 femal gender), Age (years), mean ± SD: 66 ± 10,62. Results and conclusions: The volume of the right kidney is 146,62 54,39cm3, the left kidney is 142,29 50,96cm3. The mass of the right kidney is 294,37 109,19g, the left kidney is 285,68 102,30g. The large right kidney: 42,8%, and the left is 42,2%. Microalbuminuria is 45,2% and macroalbuminuriais 18,1%,GFR is 58,87±21,44 ml/minute/173m2, GFR is 51,8%, 30-59 ml/minute/1,73m2 is 44,6%, 15-29ml/ minute /1,73m2 is 4,8%, <15ml/ minute /1,73m2 is 2,4%. GFR was correlated with albuminuria (r=- 0,370, p <0,01), with the duration of diabetes (r = - 0,184, p <0,05). RI was correlated with SBP and DBP (r = 0,218, p <0,01; r = 0,198, p <0,05). Systolic blood pressure (SBP) and diastolic blood pressure (DBP) were positively correlated with albuminuria (r = 0.223, p <0.005; r = 0.201, p <0.05); with RI (r = 0.218, p <0.01; r = 0.198, p <0.05
